H. Siampour received the PhD degree in Engineering Science from the University of Southern Denmark, for his thesis “A Nanophotonic Platform for Quantum Optical Integrated Circuits”, under the supervision of Prof. Sergey Bozhevolnyi. As a Visiting Researcher at Ulm University (07/2018-09/2018), he worked with Prof. Fedor Jelezko’s group at the Institute for Quantum Optics, investigating GeV color centers in nanodiamonds embedded in plasmonic waveguides at cryogenic temperatures. From 2013 to 2016, he was working on the project of single-atom electronics with the group of Prof. Yaping Dan at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, where he proposed and developed the idea of Si nanowire core-shell phototransistors at telecom based on two-photon-absorption phenomena. Before that, he was with Prof. Abolghasem Zeidaabadinezhad’s group at Isfahan University of Technology (2009-2013), where he developed a sequential quadratic programming algorithm for solving inverse scattering problems based on non-radiating current reconstruction. His research interests include nanophotonics, quantum optics, plasmonics, cavity QED, photonic crystals, nanofabrication, integrated photonics and quantum technologies.
