New EPSRC Programme Grant until 2021

The group is pleased to announce it has received new 5 year Programme Grant Funding from EPSRC (2016-2021). The £5.6M grant EP/N031776/1, Semiconductor Quantum Photonics: Control of Spin, Exciton and Photon Interactions by Nano-Photonic Design, is a collaboration between the universities of Sheffield, Cambridge and Lancaster. The grant aims to exploit the favourable properties of III-V semiconductors, combined with nanostructure design and advanced crystal growth and fabrication, to achieve major steps forward in the quantum science and technology of solid state systems.
